Don’t give up on your craft and passion!
Story time:
I always loved interior design, but I took a detour in school and went into science 🤷🏾♀️ I guess I was good at it too!
I graduated in Physiology and Pharmacology (14 yrs ago), then went on to work in the pharmaceutical world. But I always knew I wanted to do interior design. 4 years ago I finally took the leap and enrolled for a Diploma in Interior Design (whilst working full time and a busy home life with le husband and two young kids, not easy 😫). I also got a business coach!
I had no idea how it would all work out or if anyone would even like my style, or if I would even get clients! But I started anyway.
Now I look back and I’m glad I took that leap! With each year I see the improvements! I’ve worked with lovely clients!
I’ll keep working and investing on my craft! Who know’s where I’ll be in the next few years!
If you have a similar story or have been thinking about starting a business, just go for it, you never know where it’ll lead!
